neutral and timeless backsplash with interesting pattern
I had this installed in my kitchen. It's neutral and timeless so that it is not too specific. The herringbone pattern gives it a interesting texture, so your kitchen isn't boring. There is some variation in stone coloration, but I liked that because I thought it added an extra layer of visual design. I had this professionally installed. Two things I would add: 1) Because it is on a mesh background, it is pretty easy to install. Plus the stone tiles are easy to pull off for corners/finishing pieces. It also makes a nice border. 2) The product says it's 11" x 12" - but that is measured from end to end. My tile guy said that should be measured from interior end to interior end. So I miscalculated how much I needed and had to order a few more sheets. Not that big of a deal, but definitely keep that in mind. 3) There are a few yellowish spots throughout the stone pieces - not that many, and it's not that noticeable, but it is there and it does look like a flaw.
